Library offering training on Endnote bibliographic software

Beginning February 16, the Library will offer faculty members and graduate students training seminars for using Endnote, a citation management program available through Georgia Tech’s Office of Information Technology [OIT]. An Endnote site license is being provided to Georgia Tech students and faculty by Georgia Tech’s Technology Fee.

Neely Gallery (rare book room) now open

Knovel electronic books & database collection now available

Knovel partners with both commercial and society publishers to provide electronic access to over 500 science and engineering books.  Searches retrieve not only text in pdf format but also data and graphs in spreadsheet format that can be manipulated and downloaded for subsequent use.  Access Knovel from the Library’s web page using the following path:
Search & Locate > Search the Databases > K > Knovel.

The SciFinder Scholar 2004 client is now available

BIOSIS Previews database (1990 to present) now available

BIOSIS Previews is available via the ISI Web of Knowledge search interface.  This database covers journal articles, conference proceedings and books in all areas of the biological and biomedical sciences.  Access from the Library’s web page using the following path:
